Your State’s Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs knows every licensed facility in your state. There is no better resource for sliding-scale, state-funded, county-funded and other financial hardship programs. And don’t knock them, either. Many studies give longer term county funded prgrams a slight edge over “rehabs of the rich and famous” when it comes to clients still being sober one year after completeing treatment. And one of the best rated programs? The Adult Rehabilitation Centers of the Salvation Army. Why? Length of program and the fact that you are working for your treatment… it is not a free ride, you are earning it.
